Interface compatibility
iConnectivity interface are all USB class compliant. Our devices can work on all computing devices that accept class compliant interfaces. You do not have to worry about if an iConnectivity interface can work on a certain computing platform from this aspect.
Software compatibility
Our main software right now is Auracle X
This software is compatible with the following operating systems
- Mac OS versions 10.13 to the current Mac OS version (14.5).
- Windows 10 (64 bit) & 11 (64 bit)
Drivers
Even though our interface don't need a driver, we have created a driver for the Windows platforms. If you don't use our driver our interfaces will run with Microsoft's MIDI driver. The Microsoft driver does not allow for multi-instance uses and you may run into MIDI errors when open softwares as the MIDI driver is being used by another process.
We recommend using our driver to allow your interface to be accessed in many softwares simultaneously.
iOS compatibility
We currently support iOS 12 and higher. Though our control software is only for Windows 10+ and Mac OS 10.12+ our interfaces will work with iOS device stated below. All apps should have access to them.
Note: iConfig and iConfig for AUDIO do not work on iOS. One of our users has made reConfig and reConfig 4 audio from our open source software and you can use that for our previous gen interfaces that used iConfig previously.
Auracle X is currently not made for iOS

Android compatibility
Because of the multiplicity of Android devices available, it is impossible for us to guarantee full compatibility on all of them. However in general our interfaces should work with any device fitting the following criterion:
Android version 6 or higher (8 or higher recommended)
Android device supports OTG operation and is connected to the iConnectivity interface by an OTG cable / hub
*Operation with a ConnectAUDIO 2/4 requires the use of an externally powered OTG cable or hub.
Our other multi-port interfaces should also work with Android, however in these cases custom configuration and firmware updating will require the one-time use of an external Mac OS or Windows computer.
Linux compatibility
In general our interfaces are compatible with Linux, although our control software does not run on Linux. This means that we can officially only support iConnectivity interfaces that run without requiring control software. These are:
mio
mioXC
iConnectMIDI1
ConnectAUDIO 2/4
All 3 of these interfaces should run fine out of the box, and are tested and working with Ubuntu 16.04. Please note that firmware updating will require the use of a standard MIDI File Player.
Our other multi-port interfaces also should work with Linux, however in these cases custom configuration will require the one-time use of an external Mac OS or Windows computer in order to use our Auracle control software. The Windows version of Auracle may work on Linux under the WINE compatibility layer if you want to give it a try, but we cannot guarantee successful operation.
