Connect 2 PlayAUDIO1Us for syncronized scene changes.

If you have 2 PlayAUDIO1Us (PA1U) you may want to connect them together so they change scenes together. This is important if you are doing it with a manual or automatic failover switch.

How to connect the PlayAUDIO1Us together

Physically there is not a lot of work to do.
We recommend connecting (1/4") TRS to TRS cable from Control Jack 2 on the first PA1U to Control Jack 1 on the second PA1U.

If you are doing manual failover, you will connect your footswitch to Jack 1 on the first PA1U.

How to setup the control jacks in Auracle X

To setup the control jack to make the switching happen together you will need to make some modifications from the default settings in Auracle X. You can do these changes on the Control Ports page in Auracle X.

On PA1U #1
Make sure Jack 2 (ring and tip) are set to Output and latching. These are the default settings

On PA1U #2
You will keep most of the default settings but you will need to change 1 option in the IN put Actions button.
Click the input actions button for Jack 1 (Ring). 
In this page we only need to use the top section. 
Click the Failover Arm State dropdown menu and change it to No Action.
Then click the Scene Change Mode and select Toggle.

It should look like the screen below when complete.

Once this is done you should save both units, by double clicking the main knob on front of each PA1U interface.
